The 30th anniversary and logo unveiling ceremony of Dhaka City College alumni platform ‘Dhaka Citian Club’ was held at 12th May 2023 Friday.
Professor Gazi Zahid Hossain, a former teacher of City College, was present as the chief guest on the occasion. In the speech of the chief guest, he said, such an initiative is undoubtedly commendable. This creates a beautiful bond between the students as well as a beautiful means of maintaining communication with the teachers. He wished the future success of ‘Dhaka Citian Club’ by reminiscing many old memories.
In the president’s speech, Mohammad Abdur Razzak, convener of the organization and founding member of student council of Dhaka City College, said that although the ‘Dhaka Citian Club’ was established 30 years ago, its activities have started since now. With everyone’s support, we will take the ‘Dhaka Citian Club’ to a very large scale.
Other teachers of City College gave speeches as special guests.
Mohammad Naved Hossain, joint convenor of the organization and founding member of student council of Dhaka City College, gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
The program started at 4 pm and lasted till 10 pm. There was a joyful atmosphere throughout the event. Many people get emotional after meeting their old classmates after a long time. And the excitement of life was there. The program ended with a cultural program
